The Story is In The Stars

By Ben Parker

Time for a little insight on prophecy: I think this year is the year to start The Time of Jacob's Troubles. And, it will specifically start on the Feast of Trumpets, colloquially known as the Day That No Man Knows in Jewish tradition.

Why?

Well, it's not any one big thing that's tipping me off. I've had a sense of urgency regarding Christ's return in for the last 3 or 4 years.

But it's more than that. It's a lot of little revelations I've gleaned in those years.

The first being the fact that the sky, especially the night sky, is God's Clockwork.

Don't believe me? Check out this interesting site, and especially the video, regarding the star that the Wise Men used to discern the arrival of the Jewish Messiah King and where to find him.

I saw this video on DVD, and it is very convincing. One wonders if maybe a lot of references in Revelation aren't also related to events in the heavens.

This opened my eyes to the idea that the stars do have meaning in God's narrative and prophecy. It led me to look for other significant events.

Not but a few days ago, we had something of a similar occurrence when Jupiter and Venus converged to become a really big bright star. If we assume that Jupiter represents God, and Venus is the Messiah, then that convergence is significant, especially since it happens very close to Regulus: the King's star.

Secondly, We are still inside the year long Tetrad, which is 4 full blood moons within a year's span. 3 have happened already, and the fourth is to happen on the Feast of Tabernacles this august.

Each Tetrad saw something significant happen with Israel or the Jewish people in the last century.

There are only two events of note, so this happens to be the third… a trinity.

And, what festival precedes the Feast of Tabernacles? The little known Feast of Trumpets.

The Feast of Trumpets is an interesting event. As it implies, there are trumpet blasts involved. 100 times are they sounded during the day. The last trump is the longest and loudest. During this event, back when there was a temple, people who heard the blast were supposed to drop everything and run to the temple before the gates closed, or they would be locked out. That was generally a bad thing when it came to rituals and the law.

This should sound familiar. Jesus related this same style event regarding a wedding and 12 blushing brides of two different temperaments.

Jesus was Jewish. Wouldn't it stand to reason that he would speak in euphemisms that his own people would understand?

The reason this is known as The Day That No Man Knows is because the first trumpet isn't sounded until the sighting of the new moon, signifying the start of the new year and the start of the Jewish calendar.

There should be another story or description from Jesus's mouth that comes to mind regarding his return. "No man knows the day nor the hour but my father in heaven."

Now I'm not exactly certain if that's a direct translation or not. I've recently discovered that a lot of english translations were skewed to the already preconceived doctrines of the translator. I don't have a concordant new testament yet, but supposedly that is the most direct, because more and more people are recognizing that the telephone game has been in effect for a long time when it comes to translating from Greek or Hebrew to something you or I can understand.

Still, it sounds a lot more like a Jewish Euphemism than a direct statement or commandment.

Why is this significant? It is suggested that Jesus fulfilled each of the late year feast days up to his sacrifice. Many believe that he will fulfill all the early year festivals with his return, starting with the Feast of Tabernacles, although I think the Feast of Trumpets will also be one of them.

What's interesting is this year, the Feast of Trumpets comes early, on September 15th.

What's really interesting about that date is that it will also feature a partial solar eclipse. There have been 2 partial such eclipses in the midst of the Tetrad along with a complete bifurcating the first two Blood Moons from the Second 2.

I've recently discovered a neat little book that I'm about to delve into that discusses the meaning of the stars as it relates to Jewish custom and how the heavens really do tell the story God has given us through prophetic means and other forms of insight over the years. I plan on delving into that and some of the other concepts I've brought up more fully in the future.

As it stands, regardless of the hour or whether it's the 15th or 16th come the new moon no matter what part of the world you're on, I expect that We will see him make some sort of appearance - like maybe taking up his forgiven to keep them from the hour of testing coming to the whole world. That would be the 'Rapture'.

I think that come 16 September 2015, The tribulation will be on its way and the prophetic clockwork will be in full motion.

Woe to the inhabitants on the Earth in those days.

  1. Here's that article my mom wrote specifically about - The Day That No Man Knows - complete with a few bible verses.

Did you know that Jewish folk celebrate The Day That No Man Knows?
It is a holiday celebration just like their other feast days. This amazed me when I first heard it. Jesus said in the book of Mark that he would return to Earth on a day that no man knows. We weren’t to set any dates.

Mark 13:32 (amplified) But of that day or hour not a single person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

When is this festival celebrated? During the festival of trumpets which occurs some time in September or October. People watch for the first day of the new moon, the first visible sliver. When it occurs the trumpets are blown all day long until the sliver sets and the last trumpet sounds.

It is referred to as the day no man knows because they are never quite sure when the new moon will occur. The fulling of the moon is a 28 day cycle so this day would occur at different dates of each month. That date this year, falls on September 13. We have 12 months but 13 full moons. That is why in the fall we have two full moons in one month, the second referred to as a blue moon.

How big of a chuckle would it be if God chose to send Jesus back to collect his ecclesia or believers on The Day That No Man Knows? 1 Thes. 4:16, For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jesus said he would return with a trumpet blast on a day no man knew. Was this what he was referring to? He wasn’t so much telling us a mystery, as perhaps the very day he planned to return. You still couldn’t know the date or hour because there are 24 time zones encompassing three days.

I could just see it happening. He does, after all, have a peculiar sense of humor. Ha.
